The regularly scheduled 7:00 p.m. Board of Education Meeting on Monday, May 19th has been changed to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19th. This will allow board members, administrators, and the public to also attend the Middle/High School Bank Concert on Monday evening at 7:00.

Our Transportation Department has 2 ill drivers and we only have 1 substitute. We will be combining our 2 southern (Traunik/Trenary) afternoon routes today (Thursday, May 1st). Your child's drop off time will most likely be a little later today. Thanks for understanding.

Due to the snow and icy conditions of many of our side roads, Superior Central will be closed today, Thursday, March 20th. A decision on Elementary Family Literacy Night will be made around noon.

At 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17th, the Board of Education will be hosting our first Future Forum discussion in the Library. The purpose of this meeting is to take a look at future challenges in our district. During this meeting we plan to examine future challenges including enrollment, budget, hiring, demographics, and housing. Please join us in the discussion.


A couple more items for tomorrow.
Unfortunately, Band Festival at NMU is also cancelled.
The girls' basketball district game will be confirmed tomorrow. As it is a state tournament, I would believe that the game will be played as scheduled.

Now that it is snowing and the forecast of around a foot of snow today, with blizzard conditions in the afternoon, Superior Central will be closed today, Wednesday, March 5, 2025. All school activities are cancelled. The girls' basketball district game vs. Big Bay de Noc will be played on Thursday at 6:00 at Superior Central. Both middle and high school Band Festival performances at NMU will take place tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s Varsity Girls' Basketball game vs. Mid Peninsula (2/25) will tip off at 6:30 at Superior Central. Elementary 4th and 5th grade teams will play at 5:45. GO COUGARS!
