Good Afternoon Cougars! Parents of girls entering 6th-8th Grade, there will be an informational basketball meeting on Tuesday, August 15th at 6:00 in the Library. Unfortunately, we do not have enough participants to field a middle school football team this fall. Coach Trader still plans on working with middle school students to prepare them for high school. We hope to have the numbers for a middle school team next fall.

Good Afternoon, As you know, this year we had 7 "snow days" and 2 "sick days" for a total of 9 days out of school. The state will allow for 6 days and may grant an additional 3 if certain criteria is met. As a district, we used the October 7th MARESA wide Professional Development day as an "instructional day". Because of this, the state has only granted us 2 days of forgiveness. This means that students will have to attend school on Monday, June 5th. It will be an 11:48 dismissal for students with teacher professional development from 12:30-3:30. We will keep the exam schedule as it currently is. 7th hour on Wednesday, May 31st. 1st-3rd hours on Thursday, June 1st, and 4th-6th on Friday, June 2nd. Sorry, Bill Valima

Good Morning, Charter's fiber coming into the school is currently down. This means our phone and internet are currently down at school. Charter technicians are in the area trying to find the problem. We have the ability to call out, calls just can't come in.

Good Afternoon, I know this probably doesn't come as a surprise, but the Spring sport season isn't going as scheduled. The softball game scheduled for tomorrow at Bark River has been rescheduled to May 5th and the April 11th game vs. Rapid River has been rescheduled for April 28th. Baseball at Stephenson tomorrow is also not happening. Mr. Bagley is working on make-up dates for baseball as well. We'll keep you posted throughout the spring. Go Cougars!
